"LA MAGIA LA PONES TÚ", FUNDACIÓN VICENTE FERRER CAMPAIGN

25.11.2022

Antonio Díaz, El Mago Pop, is the ambassador of the Fundación Vicente Ferrer campaign "La magia la pones tú", which is launched from today on the occasion of the Christmas holidays. The campaign presentation ceremony took place at the Palau de la Música Catalana.

This union arises from shared values. For the Fundación, behind the prestigious illusionist there is a young man —Antonio Díaz— and a team that strive every day to give the best of themselves. Antonio Díaz explained that he decided to join the Fundación "because of his long career and his commendable work in favor of children." In this sense, he affirmed that "we are in a very difficult world that is reflected in the news every day" and appreciated the effort of those who work to make the world better and more humane.

Currently, the Fundación Vicente Ferrer has nearly 130,000 members in Spain, most of whom have opted for sponsorship. The name of this campaign is a tribute to the thousands of people who accompany the Fundación, because the magic is in the collaborators, in the community, in the boys and girls when they pursue a dream, in their mothers and fathers when they work to get forward to their families.

El Mago Pop is an ambassador and face of this campaign aimed at supporting sponsorship, a way of accompanying boys and girls and their entire community towards a life of well-being and dignity. This collaboration contemplates all aspects of people's lives: education, health, housing, inclusion of people with disabilities, economic autonomy and care for the social and environmental environment. For the Fundación, sponsorship represents a way of caring for each other and maintaining hope for change and dignity.

Antonio assured that as a child he dreamed of doing magic not because he was successful, but because he liked it. As he puts it, “we are all here for our dreams. They are the ones that move us and we must always try to fulfill them to have a full and dignified life”. Likewise, one of Vicente Ferrer's most famous phrases is "My job consists of achieving impossible dreams".
