BROADWAY SURRENDERS TO THE MAGIC OF EL MAGO POP

01.09.2023

El Mago Pop, the first spanish illusionist to have his own show on Broadway, has achieved a resounding success in his New York City stay.

With his debut at the famous Ethel Barrymore Theater, El Mago Pop has surprised the audience with an extraordinary montage that has even impacted the most important media. The New York Times speaks of “An ordinary boy with a magic touch” and TimeOut: “Antonio Díaz keeps us speechless”.

Such has been the good reception that now the young illusionist is aiming for the Guinness World Record for being “the highest-grossing one-man magic show in Broadway history” and the one that “has raised the most in a single week”. In this epic arrival at the mecca of shows, El Mago Pop raised 2,717,000 dollars in just one week, surpassing The Lion King, Hamilton and Funny Girl.

After having received such good reviews in the United States, El Mago Pop will return to the Victoria Theater in Barcelona where he hopes to break new box office records in his new season.
